SALIENTS OF NET
  • Candidates can appear in entry test more than once with the best score considered for the admission. However, in any one series only one attempt is allowed for a particular discipline.
  • NET is compiled from text books prescribed for HSSC courses. Candidates preparing for NET are advised to consult all relevant text books of various boards of education.
  • NET is conducted at three locations, that is Islamabad (NUST Campus), Karachi and Quetta.
  • At Islamabad the Test is conducted in computer-based format. In Karachi and Quetta it is in paper-based format conducted in April & July.
  • NET will be conducted in three series as per following schedule:

    SPECIAL SUPPORT FOR VICTIMS OF TERRORISM - NTF DAAS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
    To all those aspirants who have been affected by terrorism or are a direct family member of a victim, DAAS Foundation brings a scholarship opportunity to help you with your education. Founded in 2017, DAAS aims to provide education to all, irrespective of the circumstances. The foundation believes in making education possible for those who deserve our support. DAAS Foundation has partnered with NUST in 2019 by establishing a permanent scholarship seat reserved for students coming from families who have been effected by terrorism. Don't forget to apply for need-based scholarship with your admission application, and share your case with us for consideration; specifically highlighting your eligibility as per requirement of this scholarship.

NUST neither conducts entry test related preparatory activities itself nor provides material in electronic or printed format for guidance of applicants. Nor is any such activity sponsored by NUST. However, NUST organizes refresher classes for intermediate students of Balochistan, FATA and Sindh.

Candidates in their own interest are advised to refrain from organizations / individuals claiming that these have any association with NUST as regard to entry test preparation.
